Our networking evening will be a great opportunity to meet individuals from a range of sectors who are interested in employee wellbeing and supporting the local community.
We are yet to have set a date and venue, but you can register interest below:
We recently completed delivery of a Relationship Abuse Prevention project with the University of Leeds involving working with a fabulous group of Students and Staff, many signing up and committing to support delivery of the project next year. The URAP (!) project was delivered over 6 x 2 hour workshops with the Students and a full-day training for Staff. The feedback and enthusiasm of everyone participating was further evidence of the need for these conversations and opportunities to really understand relationship abuse (a.k.a. domestic violence and abuse) to be embedded in our education system. Prevention is always better than cure.
Sincere thanks to the High Sheriff of West Yorkshire funding which made this project possible. One of the many positive outcomes of this project is an information-packed booklet - the new ‘Student Ambassadors’ felt all of this info was so important to promote. Click here to see it for yourself.
Our monthly newsletter is sent out on the first Thursday of every month. It details what we've been up to over the past month, any upcoming events or plans, and ways you can get involved. If you're not yet signed up, click the button below to register to our mailing list.
