Office Volunteer Vacancy – Prevention and Recovery Service
Could you help up build lives free of domestic abuse?
Behind Closed Doors’s Prevention and Recovery Service is a vital part of our mission to help people rediscover their independence after domestic abuse. We are now looking for two Office Volunteers to donate their time for 6 hours a week for at least six months. If you are interested in working with us, we’d love to hear from you!

Your role would include:
- Helping to take calls from potential service users.
- Offering emotional support to people who may not have talked about their experiences before.
- Processing new referrals into the Prevention and Recovery Service.
- Help to provide administrative support to the team.
About you:
- You can commit a minimum block of six hours a week
- You are 21 years old or above.
- You share the values held by Behind Closed Doors.
- If you are a survivor of abuse, you have been free from your abusive relationship and related support for a minimum of two years.
