Workshop/PSHE Resources for Children and Young People re: healthy relationships and domestic abuse - briefing
19/06/25, 09:30
Behind Closed Doors has developed a range of workshops/PSHE sessions for children and young people to explore healthy and unhealthy relationships, and domestic abuse. There are sessions for children and young people from KS1 (year 2) through to KS4 (year 11) and each workshop has a full complement of resources including session plans, detailed guides, PowerPoint slides, worksheets and activities which enable you to deliver the workshops to the young people you are working with. These resources are available free to Leeds schools and other partners in Leeds who work with children and young people. This 1-hour briefing (via zoom) is to introduce the resources to professionals for you to understand what is available, how to use the resources and how you can access them. There are three different dates/times - see links below. The briefing is free to attend, but please book to secure your place. If you have previously attended a briefing, there is no need to come again, although resources are regularly updated, so do check that you have the most recent ones. The briefing will be presented by DVA Coordinators from the Leeds Family Hubs, together with the Training & Development Coordinator at Behind Closed Doors.
